The first day was probably the most exciting but also the most confusing for us as a group.  We first had to find our way around our own group and were able to get to know the people with whom we will be working intensively over the next few days.

This allowed us to get a first impression of the project, the current situation and also our team partners. During the first exchange with each other, we as a group had to decide a idea/concept for our presentation. Since our group is very large, exchanging ideas with each other is challenging as more ideas, opinions and suggestions come together that we have to take into account and include. Every person has individual ideas and needs. After a short exchange, we were able to agree on a concept.

Our idea is to understand the cultural diversity of our countries through different dishes. That if you look closely, each country can have some similarities when it comes to food and it’s worth opening up to new things and recognizing the similarities.

We should take a close look at the diversity of each country. We can show this concept well through a photography collections.

We were only able to roughly discuss our ideas on the first day, but we’ll see how the future collaboration goes in the next few days.

Today it was important for us as a group to deepen our concept and work its implementation.

We compared different Indian and german food that were some kind of similar and chosed which ones we wanted to present and which not.

It was noticeable that many ideas of the group members were often misunderstood and communication was somewhat difficult. Everyone had their own idea of the perfect presentation and we as a group had to work strict together to get to a point in this short time.

With a little patience, we were able to choose a few dishes together and adapt them together as a group.

The next step for us is to prepare and photograph the different dishes and put them together perfectly.
